Description | Publication design and layout for the presentation of the Principles and Guidelines for Ecological Restoration in Canada's Protected Natural Areas report. |
Solution | The Principles and Guidelines for Ecological Restoration Report project is a bilingual document created to be used as a common reference point not only to guide restoration projects but also to integrate visitor experience and public education principles into ecological restoration planning and implementation for Canada. The creative intent for this project was to develop an efficient design that could present large amounts of technical content/text in an "easy-to-read" and effective way. The primary approach taken to create high visual interests in this project was in the heavy usage of photography as a method to effectively support the content. As well, a strong and consistent design structure, in both the presentation of information and photographs, made for a highly functional piece. This publication design was very well received by the clients, partners and audience. |
